Transport sub-committee

The Transport sub-committee has a number of objectives that aim to make constructive suggestions on the future of transport and associated services in Sevenoaks.

Where it is deemed appropriate by the Society as a whole, we will campaign on specific issues by identifying interested parties and harnessing the relevant community to apply pressure as appropriate.

We seek to establish a forum for discussing policy issues and to identify other interested parties, as well as creating channels for discussing areas of mutual interest and strategies for achieving our stated objectives.

In addition, we aim to set up an information bank to help provide solutions to problems, while avoiding duplication of existing sources; as well as identifying where transport decisions are made, by whom they are made and how we might influence those decisions.
