PROGRAMME OF TALKS

Lectures are in St Luke's Hall, Eardley Road, Sevenoaks and start at 8.00 pm , unless otherwise stated, with coffee, tea and biscuits at half-time. Members are welcome to bring guests if introduced to the chairman or one of the officers.

6th February Irene Palmer will talk on "A Day out with Darwin". Irene has given several memorable talks in the past illustrated with her wonderful slides. This one will be centered on Darwin at Downe House.

5th March There will be a talk on the work of the Kent Air Ambulance, which is a special emergency service totally funded by the people of Kent. If you can invite any non-members, the speaker would be delighted as they like to get the work as widely known as possible. We hope to take a collection at the end of this talk and trade items will be on sale.

2nd April Lt. Col. Mike Martin will speak on "The History of the Victoria Cross". Mike gave us a very well received talk on Nelson's Navy in 2006 and this talk promises to be equally as good.
