Sevenoaks Society Footpaths Group
The programme of walks that has been arranged for the Spring and Summer 2008. The walks are about five miles in length, starting at finishing at the same point. Children are welcome if they are able to keep up. Dogs must be kept on a lead. The walks are open to all, but to help our expenses and to support the aims of the Society you are invited to join the Society. The annual subscription is £5.00; the Membership Secretary is Sylvia Penzer, 62 Oakhill Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 1NT Tel: (01732) 461536.

If you are interested in walking on your own the following publications will be useful to you:
• Country Walks Around Sevenoaks Vols. 1, 2, 3 and 4 based on original walks by R H Oakeley. There are eleven walks in each pack, and the cost is £2.50 a pack. The walks vary in length from 2 miles to 10 miles.
• Two Rights of Way maps of the Sevenoaks District by J C Fergusson on the scale of 2½ inches to the mile, costing £1.50 each.
All these are available at the Sevenoaks Bookshop and the Tourist Information Centre.
