The Society’s archive & photographic collection
We hold an extensive archive of local books, maps, leaflets, notes etc. which may be of interest to those undertaking research.
Our photographic collection started some years ago when Gordon Anchorn (ex-Chief Photographer of the Sevenoaks Chronicle) donated part of his collection of old photographs - with more received more recently. The number of old photographs has been supplemented from other sources over the years, and we have also endeavoured to take pictures before and after any developments in the town. The collection now numbers over 2500 photographs.
