Description:
Until at least 1975, these two small shops were garages. Before the garages, the site is likely to have been used for a small house or stable and some earlier brickwork survives. No. 3 is locally listed.
Comment:
This is an undistinguished building, but its plan is exactly that shown in the Ordnance Survey of 1867 and probably much earlier. A good example of the varied and complex nature of The Shambles area.
