History:
Mid to late 19th century two storey building, first floor weatherboarded with pair of dormers under tiled roof. Rebuilt as at present with two window elevation in early 20th century.

122 – Femme Fatale
Description:
Two window façade on two storeys with red brick above dual shop front. Symmetrical treatment on first floor elevation. Two shops at ground floor with offices/living quarters over.

Ground floor, dark green full with painted timber shop front divided in three
with deep panelled stall risers under two plate glass display windows with
curved heads on two thirds left side. Single panelled door with curved head
set back from pavement on right side with narrow fluted timber painted pilaster
on right. Deep dark green painted full width fascia with ‘Gem Antiques’ in
gilt antique lettering in centre over dark green retractable awning.
Ground floor, single white plastic coated metal shop front with single pane display window to right and single glazed entrance door with fanlight over to left. Shop front framed by concrete pilasters and fascia with single row of square white glazed tiles as stall riser. Deep slightly projecting fascia with simple script lettering ‘Femme Fatale’.

First floor, red/brown
brick façade with raised brick quoins and brick-on-edge string courses over
windows and under parapet coping. Parapet raised six courses in centre and
capped by precast concrete coping and with recessed brick panel in centre.
Moulded concrete string courses above fascias/below windows and at approximate
eaves level. Single white painted metal casement windows over each shop front
each having two opening leaves and central fanlight, windows divided into
small square panes.
Comment:
Undistinguished pair of shop fronts of acceptable scale in relation to their neighbours and in reasonable condition.
